A419 Bypass Project (Swindon)

Working with Wavin and Alfred McAlpine, JDP supplied Wavin twinwall surface water drainage for the A419 Blunsdon bypass. The scheme will provide Blunsdon village with a two-mile dual carriageway bypass, and a new two-level junction which will replace Turnpike roundabout to provide a safer link for traffic between local roads and the A419.

The new bypass will reduce congestion and improve safety, while making life in the village that little bit more peaceful. To be sure there is no risk of flooding, JDP selected Wavin twinwall to help prevent flood-risk both on the bypass and the surrounding areas.

Wavin twinwall is specifically designed to handle the collection and disposal of surface and sub-surface water. The system is available in diameters ranging from 100mm up to 600mm, and comes complete with a comprehensive range of fittings for all sizes. It is lightweight, strong, durable, easy to install and cost effective.

While JDP supplied the product, we also provided technical advice and on-site support for the project, just to be sure it was to the highest standard. We also provided next-day delivery too.
