    Newbury, UK — Full-time

    We are opening a branch in Newbury and need an experienced 18/26T Driver with HIAB experience. This role is ideal for someone who is diligent, adaptable, and able to collaborate effectively within a team to deliver outstanding customer service.

    Your Job

    Drivers are crucial to our company, ensuring the delivery of plastic pipes and related products to our customers in Ashford and nearby regions. The responsibilities of a Driver include:

    - Operating the vehicle efficiently and safely
    - Guaranteeing complete and punctual delivery of orders to JDP customers
    - Adhering to all vehicle and driver legislation

    Candidate Profile:

    - Eager and supportive individual willing to learn all aspects of our operations
    - Possession of a Class C License and HIAB
    - Some Driver CPC training completed
    - Digital driving license (tachograph card)
    - Knowledge of Health & Safety in a workplace
    - Comprehensive understanding of driver procedures, including "driving hours rules & regulations"
    - Ability to plan the most efficient routes for the daily delivery schedule

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of Branch Managers covering the Midlands and further afield, nurturing a collaborative and growth-orientated environment.
    • Monitor Regional performance, swiftly addressing any issues in the region.
    • Engage all branches in managing existing customer relationships, revenue and profit.
    • Coordinating regional meetings with Branch Managers that include relationship building and understanding of other relevant JDP functions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Processing high volume of invoices.
    • To ensure that all goods purchased are accurately recorded, authorised and accounted for.
    • To control supplier accounts (ensuring that all due invoices are cleared for payment efficiently and all queries are resolved) in order to maximise the amount of discount receivable each month.
    • To control inter-company accounts.
    • To control and ensure the completion of debit notes.
    • Recording overhead costs and accounting for Vat.
