Internal/External Sales Person
Bradford, UK — Full-time
JDP are growing the sales team in our Leeds/Bradford branch and are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, results driven, experienced Sales Person to join our sales team in branch. If you are able to demonstrate a proven track record in sales , preferably within the civil and drainage industry, then we strongly encourage you to apply.
The Sales Person will often be the first point of contact the customer has. You will come to us with a professional sales manner and the ability to maintain and grow our existing customer base. You will initially work 3 days in branch and 2 days on the road visiting existing, new and prospective clients in the field. Therefore this role demands an organised and professional person with the ability to maintain and grow our existing customer base as well as identifying new business potential. Some of the duties involve:
- Managing a high volume of lower spend accounts
- Delivering excellent customer service and communication
- Open new accounts and grow existing accounts
- Providing customers with product and service information
- Processing enquiries and orders accurately and within the time dedicated by the customer deadline
- Proactive promotional calling, and client visits, to customers and prospects is required to maximise the growth of the region

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Branch Managers covering North England and Scotland, nurturing a collaborative and growth-orientated environment.
- Monitor Network performance, swiftly addressing any issues in the region.
- Engage all branches in managing existing customer relationships, revenue and profit.
- Coordinating regional meetings with Branch Managers that include relationship building and understanding of other relevant JDP functions.
