Our People

At JDP, our staff come from all walks of like - but they all have a clear focus on keeping the customer's needs as their priority. Our staff are keen to undertake training to improve their skills and knowledge and many have progressed from junior roles to senior management positions.

We believe in the continuous development of our people, and make sure everyone is fully equipped with the skills they need for their role in the company. Our equal opportunities policy means all of our staff have the opportunity to progress - we purposefully make sure that everyone gains a good overall knowledge of merchanting, an invaluable asset that stands in good stead should they move into other areas of the business.

Our staff work hard all year round to deliver the best in customer service to our customers. Inbetween, they help raise money for charity by wearing pink for the day, or supporting cyclists as they cross Great Britain... and our annual company football tournament helps everyone get together from across the country - from Inverness to Plymouth.

For those joining JDP, you'll need to be flexible, have a passion for customer service and the ability to work well in a team. If you want to go further, we'll help you at every step of the way - but be expected to manage and motivate teams of people so the departments deliver the high stands of quality and service our customers expect.
